Programme Overview

IFMR GSB offers the five-year integrated programme in Management combining IFMR's five decades of expertise in Business Education with Krea University's unique approach to Liberal Education. Students are awarded a BBA degree at the completion of three years and an Integrated MBA degree at the completion of five years.

This is a strategically curated, ambitious programme designed to inculcate attitudes, values, and qualities, develop skills, and build the knowledge foundation for future entrepreneurs and business leaders (including corporations and Financial institutions).

Students can choose to exit at varied points in their learning journey and gain these degrees

  • Exit after three years with the BBA degree
  • Exit after four years with a BBA Honours degree
  • On completion of five years, get an Integrated MBA degree

Students can also choose to a take a one-year sabbatical either after the 3rd year or after the 4th year to acquire experience in the industry, family business or as an entrepreneur.

Selection Process

The first batch of the programme beginning in 2023 is limited to a maximum of 60 students.

  • Shortlist through Krea Aptitude Test
  • Followed by virtual personal interviews that focus on willingness and ability of the students to stay engaged and apply oneself across diverse subjects, classes,workshops,physical training,sports and extra-curricular activities

Eligibility

Applicant should either be in Grade XII, or equivalent OR should have passed Grade XII or equivalent. Should be physically and medically fit; and have demonstrated a record of self-discipline, self-awareness, and curiosity.

Fees

For the first three years the tuition fees is Rupees Five Lakh per annum, and thereafter the fees of the MBA programme is applicable; currently that is Seven Lakh Twenty-Eight Thousand per annum, and is subject to revision. Currently the living expenses are slightly below Rupees Two Lakh per annum, and this is subject to revision based on inflation and (any) changes in scope of services.
